The Scoop:
Over the next 24-36 months, I'm hitting the road (and air) to photograph flyball dogs in amazing locations to create one incredible book filled with the dogs of flyball. Each dog will have 3 pages featuring their portraits, flyball stats, pedigree (if known), and individual stories.
Why:
When I first stepped into the world of flyball, it wasn't quite the connected community it is now. With no Facebook and most team websites, perhaps not a priority, following my flyball dog heroes wasn’t easy. Now, as I reflect on those dogs, gone but still etched in the memories of those who loved them, I can't help but feel a pang of sadness knowing the stories of those dogs who paved the way for what flyball is today, will fade away.
The sport has evolved and is evolving so much, with today's dogs crafting their own piece of history! Doesn't your dog deserve to be celebrated and remembered? I would love to include your dog’s story in this incredible book.

There's more! "Tails of Flyball Dogs" isn't just about capturing flyball dogs living their best lives in amazing locations; it's also a fundraiser with a $2500 goal for charity. While I'm still deciding on the charity, I want it to be something significant to everyone involved in this project. If you have suggestions for the charity, please share them with me.

What exactly is Tails of Flyball Dogs?
Tails of Flyball Dogs is a coffee table book celebrating flyball dogs with a one-of-a-kind portrait session designed specifically for each participating dog, with the added bonus of raising funds for charity.
- Join my interest list.
- In December, I'll plan my 2024 trips based on interest and optimal temperatures for each location.
- As I finalize the dates and locations, I'll reach out to discuss and plan your session.
- After each trip, we'll meet over Google Meet to review and order your favorite images.
- Your orders will be shipped directly to you.
- Once all dogs are photographed, I'll design and write the book.
- When the book is ready, I'll notify participants for orders.
Who is the fundraiser supporting?
$50 from each session registration fee will go to the chosen 501(c)3 non-profit organization. At this time I'm still accepting ideas on which charity to donate to, as I would like it to be a meaningful charity to everyone involved.
My goal is to raise $2,500 for the chosen charity.
